I am shy and yet I also felt that I knew many of the people there (through blogging and Twitter) and so I admit that I was fairly exclusive. If I didn't know you, I probably didn't talk to you. <br /><br />And yet . . . <br /><br />the minute that someone asked me a question, I engaged in a conversation. I was up for it. I was social. <br /><br />I get why people would have felt slighted. However, there is a certain smugness in assuming the motives of others. If it feels like there is a tight sense of community, it's true. However, the community has an open door.
