What a fascinating list. I feel as though I should go back and read a good chunk of the ones I have missed thus far.

I am enjoying your suggestion of a book I might enjoy. I'm half way through and already sad that I only have 50% more to go. A really lovely "read."

I cried my eyes out when I read Walk Two Moons for a children's lit class in grad school. Also can't believe you never read Secret Garden or Little House - I had those read to me and then reread them more than once. Going to add a few to my summer list, too. Thanks for sharing

I love book lists! Helps me remember books I loved, books I can't wait to read with my children, books I never read but want to. I'm reading the whole Swallows and Amazons series with my children--we're on book four. Pure magic. Most highly recommended!
