We just read this last week. I have Bossy Bear at home and love reading it. So when I saw Just Like Bossy Bear in a friend's classroom I couldn't wait to read it to my class.The kids loved it just as much as I do. After we finished they talked a little about Bossy Bear and his best friend and how they changed throughout the book.
Then they started talking about how they want to be bossy when they grow up. I don't think they got the message David Horvath or I wanted them to get.

The Bossy Bear books were both huge hits in THE PIT this year. The kids were bit disappointed when I wouldn't let them be included in our Caldecott ballots. Mean Librarian!
